The Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) basketball crushed the host Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL), 70-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Rockets (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Plano walloped Morris (Morris, IL), 62-46, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Streator for a Illinois Central 8 test on Friday, January 5. Lisle will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Northridge (Niles, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.
