December 27, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN), 67-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Maroons (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Lakers go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Russell County notched a victory over McCreary Central (Stearns, KY), 69-60, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to McCreary Central for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Clay County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 69-60 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
