In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) basketball squad edged the host Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ), by a margin of 67-64.

The Golden Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their outing against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Salpointe Catholic was tipped by John Paul II (Plano, TX), 82-58, in a non-league outing.

The Trojans now own a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mission College Prep for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Valley Christian will clash with a Royals squad coming off a 71-41 non-league loss to Timpview (Provo, UT). The Royals record now stands at 3-8.
