Maine High School Basketball - Portland knocked off by Construction
December 27, 2023: Portland, ME 04101 The Construction Red Hawks basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Portland Bulldogs to 39 in the Red Hawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennebunk for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Construction will battle a Rams team coming off a 58-40 non-league loss to Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lewiston (Lewiston, ME). The Blue Devils enter the AA North contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Lewiston was defeated by Cheverus (Portland, ME), 70-53, in a league contest.
