December 27, 2023: Tuscumbia, AL 35674 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) and the visiting Russellville Golden Tigers (Russellville, AL), saw Covenant Christian's basketball squad hold off Russellville by a count of 58-51.
With the victory, Covenant Christian upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Lawrence County (Moulton, AL) to play the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 8-8. Lawrence County won 66-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL)
Next up, the Golden Tigers play the West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Russellville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
