December 27, 2023: Brandenburg, KY 40108 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the David Crockett Pioneers (Jonesborough, TN) and the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), saw David Crockett's basketball squad overcome Meade County by a tally of 49-36.
With the victory, David Crockett improves its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA) to confront the Bucs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Bucs come into the challenge with a record of 6-0.
Next up, the Green Waves confront the Campbellsville Eagles (Campbellsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Meade County will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
