Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), 71-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Delta upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Northeastern (Fountain City, IN) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 6-3. Northeastern won 55-54 in their recent non-league bout against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Golden Falcons play the Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Winchester Community will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Archers come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 67-52 non-league loss to Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN).
