El Camino Eagles (Sacramento, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Union Lancers (Manteca, CA), 47-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, El Camino upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to El Capitan (Merced, CA) to clash with the Gauchos in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Gauchos go into the bout with a record of 7-6. El Capitan won 61-57 in their recent non-league bout against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. East Union will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 61-57 non-league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA).
