Illinois High School Basketball - Edwards County fells Hardin County
December 27, 2023: Elizabethtown, IL 62931 Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hardin County Cougars (Elizabethtown, IL), 69-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Edwards County upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Lions travel to Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL) to clash with the Foxes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Foxes go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Hamilton County lost 56-48 in their recent non-league bout against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Egyptian Pharaohs (Tamms, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Hardin County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
