December 27, 2023: Wood-Ridge, NJ 07075 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Wood-Ridge Blue Devils (Wood-Ridge, NJ) and the visiting Elmwood Park Crusaders (Elmwood Park, NJ), saw Wood-Ridge's basketball squad hold off Elmwood Park by a tally of 50-43.
With the victory, Wood-Ridge improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Rutherford lost 61-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Dumont (Dumont, NJ)
Next up, the Crusaders confront the Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Elmwood Park will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 63-59 non-league loss to Becton (East Rutherford, NJ).
