Louisiana High School Basketball - Picayune holds off Fontainebleau
December 27, 2023: Mandeville, LA 70471 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) and the host Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), saw Picayune's basketball squad hold off Fontainebleau by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Picayune improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Maroon Tide travel to Salmen (Slidell, LA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 6-9. Salmen lost 86-72 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Holy Cross Tigers (New Orleans, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Fontainebleau will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 60-51 non-league loss to Bonnabel (Kenner, LA).
