Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fort Ann Cardinals (Fort Ann, NY) and the visiting Johnsburg Central Jaguars (North Creek, NY), saw Fort Ann's basketball squad knock off Johnsburg Central by a count of 36-28.

With the victory, Fort Ann upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Granville (Granville, NY) to play the Golden Horde in a Section 2 Adirondack challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Golden Horde come into the challenge with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Johnsburg Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
