The Myers Park Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Garner Trojans to 38 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Millbrook for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Myers Park will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 72-69 non-league win over Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-4.

The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Highland was routed by Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 72-69, in a non-league contest.
