December 27, 2023: Glastonbury, CT 06033 The Glastonbury Guardians (Glastonbury, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Waterford Lancers (Waterford, CT), 52-36 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Guardians (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Xavier notched a victory over Berlin (Berlin, CT), 56-39, in a non-league test.
The Lancers now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Berlin for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Waterford will encounter a Redcoats squad coming off a 56-39 non-league loss to Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Redcoats record now stands at 2-2.
