California High School Basketball - Gonzales ripped by Monterey
December 27, 2023: Gonzales, CA 93926 The Monterey Dores basketball team scored 96 points and held the host Gonzales Spartans to 35 in the Dores non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Dores now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Everett Alvarez for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Monterey will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-50 non-league win over North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.
The Spartans (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against North Salinas (Salinas, CA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, North Salinas was routed by Everett Alvarez (Salinas, CA), 64-50, in a non-league contest.
