Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain View overwhelmed by Houston Christian
December 27, 2023: Mesa, AZ 85213 The Houston Christian Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Mountain View Toros to 46 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinnacle for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Houston Christian will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 64-62 non-league loss to Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 9-4.
The Toros (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Timpview (Provo, UT). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Timpview triumphed over Mission College Prep (San Luis Obispo, CA), 71-41, in a non-league contest.
