The Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 59-40 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Trojans (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Titans go into the Santa Clara Valley - De Anza test with a 7-3 record.

The 76ers now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Scotts Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Independence will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 49-46 non-league loss to Oak Grove (San Jose, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-8.
