Indiana High School Basketball - La Porte thwarts Logansport

The La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN) basketball knocked off the visiting Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN), 65-50 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Slicers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Lowell (Lowell, IN). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Lowell went down by Fort Wayne Bishop Luers (Fort Wayne, IN), 83-38, in a non-league test.

The Berries now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hanover Central for a Northwest Crossroads test on Friday, December 29. Logansport will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 53-50 non-league win over Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
