December 27, 2023: Factoryville, PA 18419 In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting West Scranton Invaders basketball team scored a decisive 82-36 triumph over the Lackawanna Trail Lions.
In their next game, the Invaders meet the Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. West Scranton will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 75-45 non-league win over Montrose (Montrose, PA).
With the defeat, Lackawanna Trail moves to 0-5 on the year. The Lions host Forest City (Forest City, PA) to meet the Foresters in a Lackawanna 4 match on Friday, January 5. The Foresters enter the match with a record of 0-7.
