Florida High School Basketball - Zephyrhills knocked off by Lakota East
December 27, 2023: Zephyrhills, FL 33542 The Lakota East Thunderhawks basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Zephyrhills Bulldogs to 32 in the Thunderhawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thunderhawks now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rickards for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Lakota East will meet a Raiders team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Central (Brooksville, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 9-2.
The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Brooksville, FL). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Central was outscored by Rickards (Tallahassee, FL), 51-48, in a non-league contest.
