Kentucky High School Basketball - Lexington Catholic crushes Taylor County
December 27, 2023: Lexington, KY 40503 Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taylor County Cardinals (Campbellsville, KY), 81-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lexington Catholic upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Washington County (Springfield, KY) to play the Commanders in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Commanders come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Washington County won 58-47 in their recent non-league bout against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Taylor County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Colonels come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 97-41 non-league loss to Lyon County (Eddyville, KY).
