Virginia High School Basketball - William Byrd knocked off by Liberty Christian
December 27, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24502 The Liberty Christian Bulldogs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting William Byrd Terriers to 59 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tunstall for a Piedmont contest on Thursday, December 28. Liberty Christian will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-50 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.
The Terriers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Alleghany was defeated by Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA), 62-50, in a non-league contest.
