December 27, 2023: Yorkville, IL 60560 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) and the visiting Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL), saw Yorkville's basketball squad overcome Lyons by a tally of 64-55.
With the victory, Yorkville improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Foxes travel to Joliet West (Joliet, IL) to confront the Tigers in a SouthWest Prairie challenge on Friday, January 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Joliet West lost 71-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Lyons will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Palatine (Palatine, IL).
