Indiana High School Basketball - White River Valley can't hold off Mitchell
December 27, 2023: Mitchell, IN 47446 The Mitchell Bluejackets basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting White River Valley Wolverines to 44 in the Bluejackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bluejackets now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Washington for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Mitchell will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Eastern (Pekin, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-6.
The Wolverines (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against New Washington (New Washington, IN). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, New Washington nudged Eastern (Pekin, IN), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
