The Roosevelt Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Molina Jaguars to 31 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Leadership for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Roosevelt will meet a Tigers team coming off a 64-40 league win over Village Tech (Duncanville, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-11.

The Jaguars (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Skyline (Dallas, TX). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Skyline ran past DeSoto (DeSoto, TX), 58-54, in a league contest.
