December 27, 2023: Moon Township, PA 15108 The Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Roswell Hornets (Roswell, GA), 62-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their test against James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Warhawks go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, James Madison got by Rogers Heritage (Rogers, AR), 67-57, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Rogers Heritage for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Roswell will encounter a War Eagles squad coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to James Madison (Vienna, VA). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-5.
