Oak Ridge Pioneers (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oak Ridge upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA) to clash with the Golden Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 8-4. Holy Innocents Episcopal won 53-48 in their recent non-league bout against Alexander (Douglasville, GA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Mount Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record.
