December 27, 2023: Summit, NJ 07091 Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mountain Lakes Lakers (Mountain Lakes, NJ), 42-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Summit upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Millburn (Millburn, NJ) to play the Millers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Millers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Millburn won 52-40 in their recent non-league bout against Governor Livingston (Berkeley Heights, NJ)
Next up, the Lakers play the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Mountain Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 52-40 non-league loss to Millburn (Millburn, NJ).
