Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Zion Prep Academy winner over Word of God Christian Academy
December 27, 2023: Lanham, MD 20706 The Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) basketball felled the visiting Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams (Raleigh, NC), 65-52 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Warriors (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Academy of the New Church (Bryn Athyn, PA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Academy of the New Church thwarted Shabach Christian Academy Blue (Landover, MD), 91-51, in a non-league test.
The Holy Rams now own a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Washington for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Word of God Christian Academy will encounter a Pam Pack squad coming off a 67-55 non-league loss to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC). The Pam Pack record now stands at 5-3.
