December 27, 2023: Sandy Spring, MD 20860 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting North County Knights (Glen Burnie, MD), saw Sherwood's basketball squad wallop North County by a tally of 81-60.
With the victory, Sherwood improves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. McDonogh lost 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Knights play the Winters Mill Falcons (Westminster, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. North County will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 52-44 non-league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
