Kentucky High School Basketball - Trion nips Pendleton County
December 27, 2023: Falmouth, KY 41040 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), saw Trion's basketball squad hold off Pendleton County by a count of 54-52.
With the victory, Trion upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN) to play the Highlanders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Gatlinburg-Pittman won 89-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Bullitt Central (Shepherdsville, KY)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Pendleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 88-54 non-league loss to North Oldham (Goshen, KY).
