Michigan High School Basketball - Saginaw fells Pershing
December 27, 2023: Saginaw, MI 48601 Saginaw Trojans (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI), 60-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Saginaw upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to Port Huron Northern (Port Huron, MI) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Port Huron Northern won 72-57 in their recent league bout against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
Next up, the Doughboys play the Communication Media Arts Pharaohs (Detroit, MI) in a Detroit Public I bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Pershing will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
