December 27, 2023: Wilmington, DE 19808 Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Mark's Spartans (Wilmington, DE), 72-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sandy Spring Friends upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Wildebeests travel to Holy Cross (Louisville, KY) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 8-3.
Next up, the Spartans clash with the Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. St. Mark's will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
