Kentucky High School Basketball - Williamstown edges Southwestern
December 27, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The Williamstown Demons (Williamstown, KY) basketball nipped the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 67-64 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Demons (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Lynn Camp was tipped by Garrard County (Lancaster, KY), 58-44, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host South-Doyle for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Southwestern will battle a Cherokees team coming off a 58-49 non-league loss to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Cherokees record now stands at 8-5.
