Illinois High School Basketball - Niles North nips Plainfield Central
December 27, 2023: Skokie, IL 60077 Niles North Vikings (Skokie, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL), 50-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Niles North upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to play the Blue Demons in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Wildcats play the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Plainfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.
