Illinois High School Basketball - Argo ripped by Lincoln-Way East
December 27, 2023: Summit, IL 60501 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Argo Argonauts to 10 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Griffins now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Lincoln-Way East will battle a Wolves team coming off a 58-44 non-league win over Portage (Portage, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 12-2.
The Argonauts (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Riverside-Brookfield was routed by Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 62-25, in a non-league contest.
