Illinois High School Basketball - Brimfield fells Lutheran
December 27, 2023: Rockford, IL 61114 Brimfield Indians (Brimfield, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), 49-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Brimfield upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to clash with the Fightin' Irish in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Fightin' Irish go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Bishop McNamara won 50-18 in their recent non-league bout against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL)
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans (St. Joseph, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 50-18 non-league loss to Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL).
