December 27, 2023: Bryan, TX 77802 The Bryan Vikings basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Nimitz Vikings to 38 in the Vikings non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midway for a 6A Region II District 12 contest on Friday, January 5. Bryan will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-52 league win over Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-9.
The Vikings (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Irving (Irving, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region I District 7 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Irving was defeated by Pearce (Richardson, TX), 49-25, in a league contest.
