Texas High School Basketball - Coahoma crushes Hawley
December 27, 2023: Coahoma, TX 79511 Coahoma Bulldogs (Coahoma, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX), 56-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Coahoma upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Tahoka (Tahoka, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Tahoka won 50-38 in their recent non-league bout against Robert Lee (Robert Lee, TX)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Anson Tigers (Anson, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Hawley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-10 record after their 56-32 non-league loss to Newcastle (Newcastle, TX).
