Illinois High School Basketball - Dunlap trounces Lanphier
December 27, 2023: Dunlap, IL 61525 The Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) basketball crushed the visiting Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), 77-21 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Centralia (Centralia, IL). The Orphans go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Centralia was trounced by Peoria (Peoria, IL), 66-23, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to MacArthur for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Lanphier will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 74-25 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Generals record now stands at 6-9.
