Louisiana High School Basketball - South Lafourche succumbs to East Ascension
December 27, 2023: Gonzales, LA 70737 The East Ascension Spartans topped the visiting South Lafourche Tarpons basketball team by a final score of 44-26 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 5. East Ascension will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record.
With the defeat, South Lafourche moves to 7-12 on the year. The Tarpons travel to Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, December 28. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 2-7. Central Catholic lost 72-29 in their recent non-league game against Westminster Academy (Opelousas, LA)
