Virginia High School Basketball - Edison holds off John Marshall
December 27, 2023: Richmond, VA 23227 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) and the host John Marshall Justices (Richmond, VA), saw Edison's basketball squad hold off John Marshall by a tally of 51-46.
With the victory, Edison improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Massaponax lost 49-25 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland Springs (Highland Springs, VA)
Next up, the Justices confront the Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. John Marshall will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 68-33 non-league loss to Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA).
