New York High School Basketball - Franklin Academy overwhelmed by Saranac
December 27, 2023: Malone, NY 12953 The Saranac Spartans basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Franklin Academy Huskies to 35 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boquet Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Saranac will battle a Griffins team coming off a 59-25 non-league loss to Peru (Peru, NY). The Griffins record now stands at 4-4.
The Huskies (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Peru (Peru, NY). The Nighthawks come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Peru triumphed over Boquet Valley (Elizabethtown, NY), 59-25, in a non-league contest.
