Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Freedom knocked off by Phillipsburg
December 27, 2023: Bethlehem, PA 18020 The Phillipsburg Stateliners basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Freedom Patriots to 49 in the Stateliners non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Stateliners now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easton Area for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Phillipsburg will battle a Rovers team coming off a 57-36 league win over Allentown Central Catholic (Allentown, PA). The Rovers record now stands at 2-0.
The Patriots (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Burgettstown was defeated by Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA), 64-44, in a non-league contest.
