Illinois High School Basketball - Richards overwhelmed by Glenbard East
December 27, 2023: Lombard, IL 60148 The Glenbard East Rams basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Richards Bulldogs to 39 in the Rams non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rams now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andrew for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Glenbard East will battle a Thunderbolts team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 7-6.
The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Oak Lawn was routed by Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL), 51-28, in a non-league contest.
