Connecticut High School Basketball - Wilcox RVT crushes Goodwin Tech
December 27, 2023: New Britain, CT 06053 Wilcox RVT Wildcats (Meriden, CT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), 58-23 in a league bout.
With the win, Wilcox RVT upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT) to play the Owls in a Connecticut Technical bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Owls go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Whitney RVT lost 59-15 in their recent non-league bout against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT)
Next up, the Gladiators play the Abbott RVT Wolverines (Danbury, CT) in a Connecticut Technical bout, on Friday, December 29. Goodwin Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 55-17 non-league loss to Wamogo (Litchfield, CT).
