The Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) basketball crushed the host Hershey Trojans (Hershey, PA), 57-30 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Lions (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Hempfield (Landisville, PA). The Black Knights go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Hempfield was trounced by Ephrata (Ephrata, PA), 53-39, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Mechanicsburg for a Mid-Penn - Keystone test on Wednesday, January 3. Hershey will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 41-39 league win over Red Land (Lewisberry, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
