North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Academy fells R-S Central

December 27, 2023: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

High Point Academy Grizzlies (Spartanburg, SC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC), 50-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, High Point Academy upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Polk County (Columbus, NC) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Polk County won 59-27 in their recent non-league bout against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. R-S Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 59-27 non-league loss to Polk County (Columbus, NC).
