December 27, 2023: St. Louis, MO 63122 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) basketball squad nipped the host Ursuline Academy Bears (St. Louis, MO), by a margin of 35-31.
The Bulldogs (10-7) will now prepare for their outing against Waterloo (Waterloo, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Mississippi Valley outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, Waterloo got by Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL), 40-39, in a non-league outing.
The Bears now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Parkway West for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Ursuline Academy will clash with a Longhorns squad coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to Pattonville (Maryland Heights, MO). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-1.
