Maine High School Basketball - Sanford fells Lewiston
December 27, 2023: Sanford, ME 04073 Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME), 66-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sanford upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Spartans travel to Gorham (Gorham, ME) to clash with the Rams in a AA South bout on Friday, December 29. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Gorham lost 38-36 in their recent non-league bout against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)
Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Deering Rams (Portland, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Lewiston will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 61-27 non-league loss to Cheverus (Portland, ME).
